OUR TEAM
These are the hearts behind Wildflower. Our dedicated team brings compassion, empathy, and a wealth of experience to every family we serve.

Brian Flowers
Owner | Funeral Director
Brian derives deep joy and satisfaction from bringing sustainable death care options to our community. He loves helping to craft unique, relevant rituals that make meaning of life’s profound experiences. For seventeen years as a cemetery manager, licensed funeral director, funeral home manager, and now funeral home owner Brian has walked alongside thousands of families, earning a reputation for serving with integrity and compassion. He is at his most content on the beaches and in the mountains of the PNW. Even more so when joined by his wife, daughter, and Jack the dog. He also occasionally moonlights as a professional performing storyteller. Click here to watch Brian speak at a recent convention regarding his passion for serving others.

Stephanie Longstreth
Funeral Director | Care Center Manager
Stephanie is a fifth-generation resident of Whatcom County and has worked in funeral care since 2010. She served on the Advisory Committee for the Mortuary Sciences Department at Lake Washington Institute of Technology from which she is also a graduate. Stephanie is a dual licensed funeral professional who feels extremely privileged to assist families in all aspects of the death care process. Stephanie is excited to join the team at Wildflower Funeral Concepts bringing her expertise to Wildflower’s unique vision and important mission. Stephanie is most passionate about dog rescue. In her leisure time she can be found with her rescued bull terriers, Quincy and Midori, by her side. Whether that be enjoying the outdoors of the PNW from Blaine, WA to Astoria, OR, or just enjoying time together at their home in Ferndale. Stephanie enjoys knitting, cinema, and listening to choice selections from her vinyl collection.

Marcy Probst
Financial Controller
Marcy, a farm girl at heart, considers herself lucky to have spent her whole life in Whatcom County. She has deep roots here and loves serving her community as a board treasurer for various nonprofits. For the last ten years it has been her privilege to serve in funeral care as well. After earning her accounting degree from Western Washington University, Marcy went to work as an accounting manager in health insurance. Marcy is so glad to work at Wildflower, combining her accounting skills with a passion for helping folks on their hardest days. To fill her cup, Marcy throws herself into caring for animals and tending a small farm. And music… Music lifts her spirit, from singing with musical groups, attending concerts, and challenging herself by learning new songs in a variety of languages. And of course, quality time with her husband and young adult children keeps her anchored.
